## What changes were proposed in this pull request? Casting to `DecimalType` is not always needed to force nullable. If the decimal type to cast is wider than original type, or only truncating or precision loss, the casted value won't be `null`. ## How was this patch tested? Added and modified tests. Closes #22200 from ueshin/issues/SPARK-25208/cast_nullable_decimal. Authored-by: Takuya UESHIN <ueshin@databricks.com> Signed-off-by: Wenchen Fan <wenchen@databricks.com> |
